02/19/2007 | County Hall
County Hall is a building in Lambeth, London, that was the headquarters of London County Council and later the Greater London Council (GLC). Now County Hall is the site of businesses and attractions, including the DalĂ Universe and the London Aquarium, as well as two hotels (a budget Premier Travel Inn & a 5 star Marriott Hotel) and several restaurants. Other parts of the building have been converted into flats. The London Eye is nearby.

This photo was taken from a cruise down the river. It was April 2005 - still quite cold and although it was a nice day we were struck by how hazy London was (pollution perhaps or maybe just far too much ozone layer left??)
