Perugia is a hill top town in Umbria Italy. It was not on our original itinerary but alas the Pope JPII died while we were in Italy and we decided to bypass Rome (the newbie travellers that we were at the time). Perhaps we should have gone anyway.

Perugia was nice enough but it was cold (still snow on the hills) and it rained. Considering the old town is completely paved it was funny to see people out walking their dogs along the cobbled streets.
