Sacre Coeur

03/27/2007 | Sacre Coeur

This is a Catholic Basilica on the top of the Montmatre hill in Paris. Sacré-Cœur is built of travertine stone. This stone constantly exudes calcite, which ensures that the basilica remains white even with weathering and pollution.
